Replace all those candy bars and cookies with fruit or vegetable snacks or deserts. Full-sugar soda drinks have a whole lot of extra calories that turn to fat if you do not exercise enough. Switch to calorie free sodas or water and you should lose weight easily enough. Once you have lost the weight you need to lose why not stay on a low sugar diet. Reducing sugar intake can help prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and tooth decay.

 

Reduce your intake of carbs – drastically cut down the amount of bread, rice, pasta, and potatoes to lose weight quickly and easily. It is carbs that fill you up the most, and these turn to fat if you eat too much of them. Going without carbs is alright for quick weight loss, say to get in an outfit for a special event. However, going without carbs for a longer length of time is not advisable.

 

Reduce the amount of saturated fat you eat – if you eat a lot of butter, cheese, and red meats the chances are that you are taking in too much-saturated fat. Switching to lower fat margarine, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk, and not eating so much red meat can help the pounds come away quickly and without too much effort. As with reducing sugar intake cutting down saturated fat is a change that you can stick with after reaching your target weight.

 

Exercise some more – now you do not have to go from not exercising at all to running marathons but even moderate increases in exercising will help you lose weight. Even a brisk walk for half an hour at the time, three or four a week will help to shed several pounds in just a few weeks. Extra exercise combined with in taking less fat and sugars can make a notable difference to your weight in a short space of time.
